Minimal hosting logs

The hosting provider may keep standard security and reliability logs. MotoClassic does not use them to build visitor profiles.

Apple iCloud sync

When CloudKit is available, MotoClassic syncs supported garage records through the private database in your iCloud account. Transfer original photos and documents with a complete backup; sync status alone does not confirm they are included.

Optional Apple Private Cloud Compute

Smart uses Apple Private Cloud Compute (PCC) first for supported requests on OS 27 or newer, when available. PCC is enabled by default for new settings; saved opt-outs are preserved, and you can turn it off in Settings. PCC sends the request and selected motorcycle context to Apple for processing.

Motorcycle conversations require PCC and never switch to an on-device model. Other eligible Smart tasks can use Apple’s on-device model if PCC is unavailable or its reply is unusable. Receipt text and private manual excerpts stay on your device.

Completed drafts show where they were processed. Manual garage features work without Smart or internet. Apple’s PCC access and service terms apply.

Optional technical research with your own AI

You choose the motorcycle and approve its make, model, year, variant, market, technical modifications and previous AI knowledge before research. This limited profile is sent to the dedicated MotoClassic relay at cHosting and to the AI client/provider you choose. A pseudonymous installation identifier links the request and its result.

Owner notes, frame numbers, registration numbers, receipts, recordings, photographs and private manuals are excluded from the research export. Clarification replies are shared when you send them. Do not include private or sensitive details in research fields or replies.

Your AI-provider login stays in your client. Its account, processing terms and usage limits apply independently. The relay does not run an AI model.

Garage Assistant remains a separate Apple PCC feature. The relay uses HTTPS and encrypted server storage; this is not an end-to-end encryption claim.

Temporary relay storage

Pairing expires after 10 minutes. Unfinished jobs expire after 72 hours and finished results awaiting import after 7 days. When the app acknowledges import, the active job’s technical profile, result and clarification text are removed immediately; a minimal receipt remains for up to 24 hours.

Client registration metadata may remain for 90 days. Installation and revocation records may remain for up to 365 days for access control. cHosting may keep separate security logs and backups under its hosting terms; clearing active records does not immediately erase every backup. Your chosen AI provider has its own retention rules.

Connection login is handled by Better Auth on MotoClassic’s own cHosting service. Essential pairing cookies expire after 10 minutes. Pseudonymous login identities and sessions are retained for at most 72 hours.

No MotoClassic password or AI-provider credentials are collected.

Voice recordings and transcription

Recording requires microphone permission. Original audio and reviewed text belong to your garage and its backups. Supported Apple speech recognition runs on the device; if it is unavailable, you can keep the recording and write or edit the text yourself.

Watch recordings are transferred to the paired iPhone. Recordings are not sent to the MCP research service.

Your control and privacy contact

Disconnect research connections in Settings to revoke client access and stop pending research. Previously downloaded knowledge and owner notes remain local and readable offline. Data already sent to your AI provider remains subject to its terms.
